4th of July Fireworks

Celebrate America’s 246th birthday this July 4th with the Town of Windsor’s annual fireworks display. Weather permitting, this dazzling show will begin shortly after 9:15 p.m., so be sure to find your spot early and enjoy the holiday in Windsor! In addition to fireworks, this year’s celebration includes vendors and fun activities at Boardwalk Park from noon until 9 p.m. There will also be a special free concert with a good mix of rock, jazz, and country music provided by the 101st Army Band starting at 5:30 p.m. While tents and other structures are not permitted, park visitors are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, lawn chairs, and blankets for their comfort.
Curious about water fun on the 4th? Watercraft rentals at Boardwalk Park, 100 N. 5th St., will run on an extended schedule. Rentals will be available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Rental prices vary on selected watercraft and tickets are available at the concession stand. Tube rentals at Eastman Park, 7025 Eastman Park Dr., will be available during normal hours, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tubes can be rented for $15/day per tube and are available at the Eastman Park Pavilion concession stand.
