Little Tea Party on the Prairie

Join us for a little tea party on the prairie! Travel back in time for a pioneer-themed tea party at the Windsor History Museum. Come dressed in your best prairie clothes and we’ll provide the tea and tasty treats. Listen to live old-time music and dance a jig with your family! Make delicious ice cream using a historical recipe. Then, create crafts just like the ones children in the 1800s made. A museum educator will be leading exciting games from the 1800s. All the museum buildings will be open, so you can practice writing cursive in the one-room schoolhouse, climb aboard our train caboose, and more. This event takes place at the Windsor History Museum. Parking is located at 100 5th St. When registering, please sign up the parent/guardian(s) and each accompanying child. Recommended for youth ages 3-12.
